"Economy Gastronomy" is a major prime-time BBC2 food entertainment series. Each episode, Paul Merrett & Allegra McEvedy try to cut a family's food bill, whilst improving the quality of the meals they are eating and the time it takes to make them - showing you how to cook really good food and have some money left at the end of the week.

The series has elements of reality based television, studio cookery and VT packages.
